Our Sahara Program

Providing Healthcare Access and Education in North Africa's Underserved Communities
In remote and rural areas of North Africa, many communities lack access to basic healthcare and education services. Our charity aims to reach these underserved populations through temporary traveling clinics and school building initiatives.
Our first major project focuses on the central Sahara region, including the areas of Ghardaïa, Tamanrasset, and Oud Souf in southern Algeria. These isolated desert communities have limited medical facilities, supplies, and health education. Our volunteer teams will set up pop-up clinics offering:
- Free medical checkups and dental care through roving drop-in clinics
- Medicine distribution following local clinical guidelines
- Health talks on preventing major diseases like diabetes and heart disease
- Education about escalating conditions to hospitals when needed
Female-led initiative supporting obstetric and gynaecological care in the region by:
- Distributing reusable feminine hygiene products
- Teaching girls and young women about female health and safe pregnancy practices
- Screenings and education to prevent high-risk pregnancies
In addition to healthcare access, we will focus on renovating and constructing new school buildings and orphan care centres. Our goal is to create secure spaces where children can learn, develop skills, and receive an education with the aid of our teaching volunteers.
By offering free temporary clinics and investing in infrastructure for local schools, we aim to uplift these isolated North African communities and provide support where resources are most lacking. Please consider getting involved or donating to help expand access to our programs.
