Other International Programmes

Senegal

We raised £1,000 to buy 160 football kits, shoes, and food from local suppliers, which we distributed to Talibé children in Thies. These children are orphans taken in by local schools but often forced to work as street sellers from a very young age. Many had visible injuries, highlighting the urgent need for healthcare. Our next goal is to establish a free health clinic, showers, and a canteen to provide medical care, hygiene, and nutritious meals.

Pakistan

We successfully raised £2,000 through our fundraising efforts to build a girls’ school in Pakistan, providing a safe and supportive learning environment for young girls who previously had limited access to education. This initiative aims to break down barriers to learning by offering quality facilities and resources, empowering students to pursue their ambitions and contribute meaningfully to their communities. The project reflects our commitment to promoting gender equality in education and creating lasting opportunities for future generations.

Ghana

In Ghana, we carried out sustainable medical deployments in 2021 and 2022 in villages near Anomabu, raising £6,000 to fund these life-changing initiatives. Across the two missions, our dedicated volunteer teams provided free medical care and health education to over 500 patients, addressing both immediate healthcare needs and long-term wellbeing. By combining treatment with preventative health advice, we aimed to empower communities with the knowledge and resources to maintain better health outcomes long after our deployments ended.

Turkey and Syria Earthquake relief

Following the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, we acted quickly to provide urgent relief, raising £2,000 and collecting around 1,000kg of clothing for those affected. Recognising the backlog of donations in Turkey and the urgent need in northwest Syria, we became one of the first charities to send clothes directly into the region, where many communities had received little to no aid. Our rapid response ensured that vital supplies reached families in desperate circumstances, offering warmth, comfort, and hope in the wake of the disaster.
