About the event
This winter, The Orange Trust will launch its next major deployment to the heart of the Sahara Desert in southern Algeria. Our teams will be reaching remote and underserved nomadic communities in regions such as Ghardaïa, Tamanrasset, and Oud Souf, where access to healthcare and education is extremely limited.
Through temporary mobile clinics, we will provide:
Free medical and dental check-ups
Distribution of essential medicines and health supplies
Health education talks on preventing common diseases such as diabetes and heart conditions
Guidance on when and how to escalate serious conditions to hospitals
